PhoneBoxx Refund, Returns & Shipping Policy

Welcome to PhoneBoxx! We value your satisfaction and aim to provide you with a smooth and stress-free shopping experience. This page explains our refund policy, returns process, and shipping guidelines. Please read carefully before making a purchase.


Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date you receive your order.
If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer you a full refund or exchange unless the item is defective or covered under warranty.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it.

  • The item should be returned with its original packaging where applicable.

  • A valid proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) is required.


Non-Returnable Items

Some products cannot be returned due to their nature:

  • Gift cards

  • Downloadable digital products

  • Personal care items (e.g. earphones used without seals)

  • Software or apps once activated

  • Items that have been damaged due to misuse after purchase

Please note: Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. All returns must go through PhoneBoxx directly.


Partial Refunds

In certain cases, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Any item showing signs of use not caused by our error

  • Any product missing parts or accessories

  • Any return requested after the 7-day period


Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email or SMS:

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 working days and credited back to your original payment method.

  • If rejected, we’ll provide an explanation and return the item to you.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card provider — some processing times may apply.

  3. Contact your bank — refunds may take a few days to reflect.

  4. If you’ve done all this and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at info@phoneboxx.co.za.


Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
Sale or discounted items are non-refundable unless they are defective or arrive damaged.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or covered under warranty.
If you need to exchange an item for the same product, send us an email at info@phoneboxx.co.za and return the item to:

Gifts

  • If the item was marked as a gift during purchase and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

  • If the item wasn’t marked as a gift or was sent to the gift giver first, we’ll issue the refund to the original buyer.


Shipping & Delivery Policy
At PhoneBoxx, we offer fast and reliable nationwide delivery:

  • Standard Delivery: Up to 3 working days for most locations in South Africa, Monday to Saturday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

  • Remote & Hard-to-Reach Areas: Delivery times may be longer due to courier limitations.

  • Order Tracking: Once dispatched, we’ll send you a tracking number

  • Shipping Cost: A flat fee of R70 applies. This fee may change depending on the delivery option selected at checkout or additional courier charges for remote locations.
  • Order Tracking: Once dispatched, we’ll send you a tracking number so you can monitor your delivery in real time.

To return your product, mail it to:

Important Notes:

  • You are responsible for paying your own return shipping costs.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted.

  • Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

  • For high-value items (e.g. iPhones), we recommend using a trackable courier service or purchasing shipping insurance.

  • We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.
